My wifey's cousin's Wedding

12 Jul 2009, we were at Hougang CC, attending my wife's cousin wedding. We were greeted by some familiar faces and were soon after seated to savour on the food available. The food was great! We have Nasi bryani, Ayam masak merah, Dalcah among a few and also desserts as well! The food was quite delicious and the palace was nicely decorated. The decoration for the National day seem like blend nicely with the wedding decorations! The place was buzzing from live music by some Arabic band. Plenty of Arab songs were heard! Great food and great ambienced!

My cousin's Wedding Reception 7th Jun 2009

7th Jun 2009. My Aunt's place was to be change into a dining hall for all guests of the wedding. A huge tent was put up and table and chairs we arrange for guests to sit in.. What a joyous occasion with the decoration in red and white themes.. The ceremony was threatened by heavy rain but when the groom arrives the sky had clear a bit and the procession was able to be continued.. It was a great wedding with the place buzzing with ppl eating and catching up with friends and relatives that you can only see during this kind of events.. If you know what i mean... HEHE.. I had a great time there but my son was so handful that I cant do more than juz taking care of him... Hiaz.....

Wedding dinner at Gelang Patah - My dad's friend's daughter's wedding

I was fortunate enough to attend thos Kampung wedding at Gelang Patah. 3rd May 2009, We went over to Gelang Patah at Johor Bahru for a wedding luncheon. My dad's ex colleague daughter is getting married and the feeling of a kampung wedding is totally different from those under the void deck wedding that i frequently go in Singapore. The food was good! particularly the Ayam masak merah!!! It was damn good!! We stopover to King's warehouse ice cream sales after this trip and manage to buy $ 36.00 buck worth of ice cream!!!! It was that much!!!!!

My wifey's neighbour's son's Wedding at the CC

I was at Bedok North Ave 1 Community Centre on 19 Apr 2009. It was my wife's neighbour's son's wedding. The place was decorated nicely with fresh flowers. It gonna cost them a bomb for that! The traditional malay Gamelan team was there too to play Javanese traditional songs.. It was quite impressive. The food was splendid! Plenty of choices to choose from! Had a ball eating the food that was available!! But muz watch my diabetes!! Too good to miss though!!!

28th Mar 2009, Venue - Blk 498N Tampines St 45. Went to this very elaborated wedding. My wife's neighbour had a wedding held for their daughter. Very grand. The place was decorated to mistique Javanese style. We even had performance by the Gamelan team. Very IMPRESSIVE!

My second nephew's wedding Part 4

The couple have a change of clothes and then proceed to the Bride's place! Meanwhile some of us start to goof around on the Pelamin. Oh well, It has been a long day for some of us.. I am lucky enough that my son need my attention.. Kekekeke manage to Taiji some of the chores.. hehehehe... Oh well it was a good wedding!! Love the wedding seasons!

The arrival of the couple. With the kompang team beating their kompang, everyone's attention was diverted towards the procession. As usual, phootaking session was conducted for friends and relatives.

Basically, the ppl in the kitchen were all my relatives. This type of wedding where the cooking is done by your own family is quite rare now as more ppl believe that the hard work shld be done by contract caterer so that the family members can enjoy the wedding itself. I sometime disagree with this statement as we can still enjoy the wedding and work at the same time!!!

My second Nephew's Wedding.

Blk 225 Bukit Batok, 8th Mar 2009. My cousin's son's Wedding was held. The void deck was nicely decorated with the same ppl who did my wedding almost three years back! The place is ready for the big event! With our very own relatives doing the cooking... This gonna be a hectic afternoon!

Ruijie Wedding Banquet/Solemnization at Flutes at the Fort

7th Feb 2009, the Solemnization was conducted at Flutes at the Ford. The bride was dressed nicely in a simple dress.. Wise choice as the weather was quite hot that morning!! Eevrything underwent as plan apart from the cordless mic that cannot be used as it was out of range!! Apart from that.. everything was perfect! The food was ok .. But it took quite long before the main course was served!! It took a while and when it came the food was gone in a jiffy!! Everyone was hungry by then!!! KEKEKEKEKE!!!!! Good banquet!!! I enjoyed it tremendously.
