Weight Monitoring

With bet still onz.... My two colleagues pressure me to buy a digital weighing machine so that they can keep track of their weight daily.. As promised i just bought for them a digital weighing machine (not very accurate though). I can observe that they have been at the it for like 3-4 times a day and feel very happy if they manage to lose just 100 g of weight. The heat is on... Its now or never for them to win the $1000.00 BET.. They are taking this bet seriously and I should supprt them... Just this morning I bought a slice of masala Thosai but finishes it quickly before they reach office.. Not to tempt them with the food!!!!..

Hope they win the battle in losing weight!!

Moving house

All in a hard day work... ... Assist my friend, Din moving to his new place last weekend.. 5th July 2008. Nicely renovated. For a place only for two people, he really got a lot of things to bring... But then all were rewarded when we had a feast after the moving is completed....

Let me sum up his place.

1. Brightly painted.

2. Cosy for a family of 4-5 people.

3. Nicely renovated.. especially the kitchen...

4. GOOD HOME THEATER SYSTEM (cost nearly $4 K). Brand BOSCH.

5. Brightly lighted too..

The Secret plan to lose weight

This is the so called secret plan to lose weight planned by my two colleagues..

The strategy .. Herbal life products..... After talking with the two of them.. This is what I gather..

Meal substitute shakes - Protein milk drink to replace Breakfast and Dinner

Concentrate Herbal Tea - Religiously, they have to drink 2 litres of this tea daily..

Other strategies for the lose weight program - Lunch .. can maintain per normal meal .. Water .. On top of the 2 litres of concentrate herbal tea, they have to drink 2 Litres of plain water too..

I have tried to tempt them with chipmores cookies a today and it seem that the two of them are determine not to snack...

Let put it this way.... If you have to stuff yourself 4 Litre of liquids daily.. you will have no appetite to eat other things as you will be full by it alone...

So for anyone who wants to lose weight.. PLEASE DRINK 5 Litres of fluid daily.. I am sure you will lose weight eventually..

$1000 Bet to lose 10kg weight

My two colleagues, Jaya on the left and Sulia on the right make a bet with my Boss, Mr. Wang that in 4 months time they will shed 10 kg.... The reward ??? $1000.00... Sound too daunting for the two of them? I think Jaya is at least 95 kg and Sulia should be around 82 kg... In 4 months time, 30 Oct, please come and visit my blog again to see if they have succeeded in losing that 10 kg....

They told me they have a secret plan but for now it will still be secret.. We shall see how this secret plan can do good for them...

As for me?? I will continue to tempt them with food during lunch... Afterall .. .. it is really fun to see them struggling to diet... HAHA...

Sourcing for Items

A hose that can tahan up to 60 Deg C of heating oil.... First stop I went to Jurong Port Rd hardware shops but none could provide me this hose with such specification... i was about to lose hope.. when I decided to go to Pioneer North Rd when I saw this company Techmarine Hydraulic which immediately show me some stocks.... It took me 1.5 hours just to source for this hose .. It can be really 'SIAN' if you cant get what you are looking for but perseverance pays.. For those quick coupling... you can only get at a shop at Jurong Port Rd hardware stores.. Been to several places in the West side and only there it is available.....

All in a long hard day of sourcing and buyings.. .... ... Life can be so boring but then if you look back.. life is too short and you really need to make the full use of it...
