Hennai Ceremony for my cousin's wedding

Saturday, 6th of Jun 2009. I was at Jln Utama, Kampung Melayu Majidee JB for my cousins wedding. That night was scheduled for her Henna Ceremony. I am really not sure how is this ceremonyw as conducted as in Singapore we seldom practise this anymore. In summary, ppl will come in front of the couple, takes an egg and showed it on the coouples face, followed by throwing of paddy on to them. If I am not wrong , it is kinda a blessing for the couple for a long lasting married.. I need to do more research on this man!! Irregardless of my ignorant for this ceremony.. One thing for sure we had fun....

Baozhu's Wedding at Sheraton Towers Hotel

31 May, 2009. My family and I was at Sheraton Towers Hotel for Baozhu's wedding banquet. Baozhu's has lost ALOT of weight for her wedding. OMG How did she did that. But anyway. The food was ok at the beginning but towards the end when I am totally full, the main dish I cant barely touch as it consist of rice and mutton chops. Looks good but too full already! My baby Hariz was so naughty and he do not want to sit on his baby chair!!!! Hiaz.. Have to think twice next time if I want to bring him along for any more of these weddings!!!!! Great Wedding!

Kok Sua's Wedding Banquet at Orchard Parade Hotel

10 April 2009, I was one of those lucky ones that was invited to Kok Sua's wedding held at Orchard Parade Hotel.
The Ballroom was alright but with low ceiling... the ambience is not that wonderful. Overall, the food was GREAT! We got fish, Sotong, Rendang Beef, Curry chicken and Tahu goreng.. It was really a sumptuous dinner. Great to catch up with Jaris, Kim Leong, James and Xiaoguang who all attended the wedding and were sitting in my table! Great Dinner!

How wonderful! 3rd of Jan 2008, we had a wedding reception there to celebrate the union of my good friend Wei Shuan to his fiance Mei Xia. It was a good event. I had plenty of good food! and we really love the atmosphere and ambience of the place. Really a nice place to hold a wedding and love the setting!

Chang's Wedding Banquet

The Banquet dinner for Chang Ching's wedding was simply wonderful. Hotel food is definitely a few classes higher compared restaurant food. I had a wondeful time eating the food.. But the best moments was the time I took the stage and sabo Chang ching with a series of difficult questions for him to answers... KEKEKEKe. Great nite and great wedding!

Chang Solemnisation at Hyatt

I was the groom'sman for my pal Chang Ching during his Solemnisation Church style. It was simple but yet meaningfu ceremony. Too bad my grasp for mandarin is quite low and as such I could only understand 40% what the pastor said. Keke. One significant incident was Thomas inability to provide the ring as expected... KEKE , but then it was quite nervous for everyone.... The ring is stubborn to come out from its box.. Chang jokingly pointed out that Thomas did not want him to get married.... KEKEKE.. I was lucky.. I juz have to stand by the stage all this while... KEKEKEKEKE....

Had a WONDERFUL time at Rick's wedding yesterday, The banquet as well as the Soleminisation was held there and it was such a joyous occassion.. Too bad he cant make it to my wedding... DARN he was outstationed at Japan at that time.. Or else.... He can learn a few pointers from me during his guitar performance.. But then.... For someone who does not knows how to play guitar and played that Adam Sandler's wedding song, in front of so many people in three weeks is a good achievement man! The food was fabulous and had a great time chatting with so many frens! Wishing them a blissful marriage life and start a family soon! Good dinner last nite!

James Wedding dinner at The Pines

I was one of the fortunate to be invited to my ex colleague's wedding, James. It was a grand wedding held at The Pines, Steven Road. For the first time, we have valet parking where I have to surrender my car keys to them. It was kinda weird looking other people driving my car.. But anyway. .. The grand ballroom was very spacious and the food was alright. It has a very nice interior for a wedding ceremony. Thank James for inviting me!

Lian Shi's Wedding

I was among a few that had the privilege to attend Lian Shi's wedding. It was held at an exclusive restaurant, Grand Shanghai situated at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel. The solemnization was held at the pavilion in front of the restaurant. It was really wondeful. The food was given in small portion which make it rather comfortable and less pressure. The place has very good ambience and for once I was sitting on cushion seats which make it extra memorable! Really a great place to hold your wedding! Simply LOVE IT! The halal food was surprisingly good too!

Jaya's sister's wedding

Was fortunate to be invited by Jaya to her sister's wedding. Held at Singapore Khalsa Association at No.2, Tessensohn Road. The wedding was quite grand. The place itself cost about $3K for rental alone.... Plenty of performance was performed. Among a few was an impressive Indian dance by a 9 year old girl, Bhangra guys performing dancing stunts, Sivaji Ganesan impersonifications by someone that really looks like him.. The food was by Tandoori River Walk. It was very nice and delicious.
Cant stay all the way caused I had something on in the evening but on overall the occassion was really full with colours and cahracters. Hope to attend more indian weddings in the future...
