Big Canal at Choa Chu Kang Cres

I have noticed these people fishing at the Choa Chu Kang Crescent canal and thought while it was a common activity for many, it is also potentially dangerous. “The neighbourhood at Choa Chu Kang Crescent is blessed with beautiful greenery. “The big canal streaming pass by the area is a classic example this. However, some over-enthusiastic nature lover took a dangerous move by fishing and crab catching at the canal. “If there is a flash flood, these nature enthusiasts might be endangering their lives. “However, it is still a nice sight to see young people to play in the 'longkang' . “I used to do this in my kampong days and it seems that the trend is back with the kids living around Choa Chu Kang Crescent area. “What comes around goes around.”

Jaris's Birthday Celebration

Last Saturday, I was invited by Jaris's wife to attend his 39th bday celebration. In conjunction of Hari Raya celebration, we went to his house under the pretext to celebrate Hari Raya.. However, Jaris was told to go and buys some paper plate. We then surprise him on his return with the cake! Oh well he had a pleasant surprise. We are delighted to see that! Me? I got him a pen for his bday! A Parker Pen mind you. Ok lah not that expensive but the thoughts that counts right?

Vandalised Wall

Who can be so irresponsible to leave their palm print on this wall.. The set of hand print is really an eye sore to see. The whole block was re-painted recently and someone hand is so itchy and has to do this prank! WHAT AN EYE SORE

Watch! My son can stand on his own!

Hariz learnt how to stand on his own via the railings of his cot. He can be a handful if he do not get his way. The cot nearly give way when he jumps around in there! He is getting to strong for the cot!!!!!

Haze is back?

I was passing by Choa Chu Kang Way around 7.00 am when I realise how bad the haze condition at the Choa Chu Kang estate. Is there more hotspots in Indonesia that are not reported in the media?

Lehman's Wedding

I was back at the same venue where I held my wedding.. My Block 239, Bukit Batok. This time round my neighbour Lehman has gotten married to his Indonesian GF. The food was Okay and and the rojak has one of the hottest sauce I had ever tasted! Maroon and white is the theme of the decoration and it proved to be very compatible with the colors of the wall..

James Wedding dinner at The Pines

I was one of the fortunate to be invited to my ex colleague's wedding, James. It was a grand wedding held at The Pines, Steven Road. For the first time, we have valet parking where I have to surrender my car keys to them. It was kinda weird looking other people driving my car.. But anyway. .. The grand ballroom was very spacious and the food was alright. It has a very nice interior for a wedding ceremony. Thank James for inviting me!

Hajjah Fatimah Mosque

I was along Beach Road and had the opportunity to enter Hajjah Fatimah Mosque. Believed to be built between 1845-1848, this mosque is among the oldest mosque in Singapore. The architectural design of the mosque is awesome. These are places where Singapore must continue to preserve and conserve.!

The wrong way to unload your goods.

I saw this lorry unloading furnitures at Bukit Batok East Ave 5 carpark. Instead of using the designated loading/unloading area, the driver parks on two motorcycle parking lots to unload the furnitures. The lorry was parked there for a while and really obstruct riders to park their motorcycle there.

Heavy Vehicle hogging the road

I am really unhappy whenever this happen. There is no way faster vehicles are able to overtake once these vehicle hogging the three lanes. Something must be done to curb these drivers habit to drive on the overtaking lanes.

Oil Prices Plummet

The prices for crude oil went down to low $77.00/barrel. I am not an economic analyst but hope this is not the onset for the BIG DEPRESSION.... ... Oh well it official that Singapore is having a RECESSION but to get to the BIG D (Depression), Singapore's economy will certainly take a beating.. A country with no mineral resources apart from Human itself.. Will definitely depends entire on foreign economic conditions to hold its grips.. But with every country is not doing so well ... .. I am so worried...

People will lose jobs and companies will go bust... The outlook does not look good for everyone but all of us have to eat... Let pray for the future yeah!
