Lian Shi's Wedding

I was among a few that had the privilege to attend Lian Shi's wedding. It was held at an exclusive restaurant, Grand Shanghai situated at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel. The solemnization was held at the pavilion in front of the restaurant. It was really wondeful. The food was given in small portion which make it rather comfortable and less pressure. The place has very good ambience and for once I was sitting on cushion seats which make it extra memorable! Really a great place to hold your wedding! Simply LOVE IT! The halal food was surprisingly good too!

No Motorcycle parking at West Mall

It is really unbelievable that the West Mall management has not catered to motorcycle parking at their premises. Do they expect only those with cars are allowed to patron their mall? Such inconsiderate move will not benefit everyone!

Quite a disappointment! Went to the warehouse sale and could not find any good bargains! Manage to get diapers for my baby and cookign oil for my mum only. So disappointing and the price are not really dirt cheap!

This Hari Raya.. The theme is RED.. Thus we manage to get this bamboo carpet for $40.00 was a good catch! My mum brought another design which is slightly bigger for $ 50.00. This design blend in quite nicely in my house!

Jumali's newborn Princess

Hana Humairah.. Very nice name for a beautiful princess.. Went to KK yesterday to visit Jujup's newborn daughter. Very healthy baby weighing at about 3.5 kg. She is too healthy that her mum have no choice but to Cesarean.. My poor friend for a second time could not be able to be in the delivery room... But then operation is necessary for the safety for both mother and daughter.. Small sacrifices for their safety..

My bday celebration this yr on the 3rd of Feb

This a long overdue thanks to my sisters in law -Sarah and Nurul for buying me a cake for my bday last February. Been wanting to say thanks to them to the whole world but do not have the time.. Just manage to get this photo recently from my wifey... Thus decided to post it here to thanks them for their effort. The cake was simply delicious.

Jaya's sister's wedding

Was fortunate to be invited by Jaya to her sister's wedding. Held at Singapore Khalsa Association at No.2, Tessensohn Road. The wedding was quite grand. The place itself cost about $3K for rental alone.... Plenty of performance was performed. Among a few was an impressive Indian dance by a 9 year old girl, Bhangra guys performing dancing stunts, Sivaji Ganesan impersonifications by someone that really looks like him.. The food was by Tandoori River Walk. It was very nice and delicious.

Cant stay all the way caused I had something on in the evening but on overall the occassion was really full with colours and cahracters. Hope to attend more indian weddings in the future...

What a Plastic Bag!

My family and I went to Woodland Centre for a shopping session last Sunday, 11 of Sept.

At one of the shoe shop, my niece, 8 years old brought a pair of shoes from one of the shops.

There was nothing unusual about the plastiv bag that was used to hold the shoes until I had a better view and was appalled to read on its print.

Are these plastic bags allowed to be distributed with such printing ?

Traffic light malfunction

I was travelling along the Jalan Buroh when I arrive at the intersection with Jurong Pier Road. The red light of the traffic light has already fell off. So dangerous as it carry the risk of motorist unaware the color of the traffic light and could inadvertantly run a red light. Accident are waiting to happen.

Inconsiderate Driver

This is one inconsiderate driver. How could he deprive parking lots to other motorists. He had intentionally/unintentionally parked over 4 motorcyles parking lots. There are so many other parking spaces and he/she has to parked here?

My cousin's wife brother's wedding

30 Aug 2008. It was rather rainy day. Two todays before Ramadan (fasting month) and we still have people organising wedding luncheon.. But anyway.. Went to Teck Whye Blk 116 for my cousin's wife brother's wedding..... .... It seem that for a saturday wedding, the number of people attending the luncheon is not that much compared to Sunday as many ppl are still working on Sat.. But anyway.. My wife cooked spaghetti that afternnon so by the time I went for this wedding luncheon with my parent I was quite full already. So ate only lontong and bubur cha cha. Not that bad quite tasty.. The sleepy weather does not deterred many people to attend this wedding..
